So much of my life is how I react to what I experience. I cannot control everything that happens to me, but I can control my choices in response.
In December 2015 Pastor Tim Reed became the Spiritual Father that I needed in my life. He introduced me to the Foundation for Achievement, 4 Values, 40 Principles, roundtable concept. I had no idea how radically my heavenly Father was about to transform my life. As I began to apply what I was learning, God caused those 40 Principles to shine like an extremely bright spotlight in all those very dark and deep crevices of my life.
The transformation process started in my innermost man. Jesus healed and freed me so the living waters that He poured inside of me began to flow out of me. I must not be delusional because I know that living with authenticity is very hard and is not popular at all. It is always very challenging and very uncomfortable. But the rewards are truly worth engaging in that intense battle.
These 40 Principles are the reason that I am able to establish structure, guidance, and direction in my life. No matter what my conditions and situations may be, with God, NOTHING is impossible. I know that I must keep investing my time, energy, and strength into seeking first the Kingdom of God, serving others, and giving generously. I will build a portfolio – a solid foundation – a safety net that will protect and prosper me. It is never too late to till the ground, pull up the weeds, and plant seeds for the future.
I know I cannot go back to start a new beginning, but I CAN start now to create a new ending!
